Nothing to like, exept the guy from the main desk
The ellevator looked like an 1870 mining carrige... Breakfast is poor, room is not clean and it looks like a boat room. Shower not working properly... So on... Do not go there ever ! Only if you want to spend less and don't care about the room

The location at Hotel Cairoli is fantastic, within walking distance to the waterfront and main attractions. My room, while small, had a cozy feeling with a small desk and an electric kettle to brew some tea. The air conditioning worked well. The shower was cramped, and the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. A supermarket nearby was handy for snacks. A reasonable place for basic needs, but there are definitely areas needing attention.

Very helpful staff - knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The air conditioning and the free carafe of water in the fridge were much appreciated during a hot and humid visit to Genova. The location is pretty much perfect - close enough to the train station, and well-placed for visiting the historic center. I'm a woman traveling alone, and the area felt safe to me.

The location was prime-just a short walk to attractions and the port 😍 The room felt small and the bathroom could've used more space. A tad noisy at night, but overall a decent stay!

The hotel is clean, provides with neat and functional rooms. The employees are helpful and efficient. It has good and magnificent location and private parking if needed. Again, the property is located a 10-15 minute walking distance from Spianata Castelletto.

The staff were extremely helpful, especially the guy on the desk - a tall, cheerful man who treated us like a friend

Ideal location in pedestrian zone, so quiet and very convenient for walking to most sightseeing, restaurants, shops etc. Exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff, with good English. Adequate breakfast, pleasant lounge with internet access, TV etc. Informal atmosphere. Delightful artistic decor. Access to terrace - perhaps rare in cramped Genoa. Comfortable wide bed.
Room rather small, but well organized. Rather harsh overhead light, and bedside spotlights no good for reading in bed - too weak and too low. Cramped bathroom, and our shower cabinet wouldn't close properly.

Hotel Cairoli is a very interesting place to stay, unique in style and design and very well located to get out to explore the lovely city of Genoa. Attilio and his team are friendly and helpful, speaking good English, with helpful information about places to visit. The Cairoli is not the Ritz, but has its own charm, the lift is very quaint, roof terrace nice to sit out on for a drink and breakfast is adequate. We would reccommend it for a short stay
